AI Transparency
Cosmo Radio FX is a fictional creative work produced through a human-led process. Generative artificial intelligence is used as one of several production tools, including for parts of the music, synthetic voices for fictional characters and visual material.
AI-assisted or AI-generated material is not published automatically. It is selected, directed, rewritten where appropriate, edited, combined with other material and incorporated into the finished work through human creative and editorial decisions.
Where AI May Be Used
- Fictional character voices: synthetic speech may be used to perform characters created for the Cosmo Radio FX universe.
- Music: generative music tools may be used as part of creating original fictional songs and recordings, which are then curated and edited for release.
- Images and artwork: generative image tools may be used for fictional portraits, advertisements, record covers, archive material and other visual elements.
- Writing support: AI tools may assist with research, ideation, drafting or language work. Story, continuity, selection, revision and final editorial responsibility remain human.
What This Does Not Mean
The presence of AI tools does not mean that the project, its episodes or its individual creative decisions are autonomously produced by an AI system. Cosmo Radio FX is conceived, curated, edited and produced as an authored fictional universe.
Synthetic voices used for fictional Cosmo Radio FX characters are not intended to impersonate real people. If a future production deliberately uses AI-generated or manipulated media to depict a real person, real event or other real-world subject in a way that requires specific disclosure, that use will be identified appropriately.
Transparency & the EU AI Act
This page is intended to provide clear, accessible information about the use of generative AI in the project and, where applicable, to support transparency obligations under Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the EU AI Act).
Article 50 includes specific transparency rules for certain AI-generated or manipulated content. For obviously artistic, creative, satirical or fictional works, the Regulation provides for disclosure in an appropriate manner that does not hamper the display or enjoyment of the work.
For the official legal text and current European Commission guidance, see Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 and the European Commission's guidance on transparency obligations.
